The first half of the show is a tribute to one of the most distinctive voices of all time, Roy Orbison. It features a selection of the most popular hits from all eras of his career, and a few classics for the more hard-core fans.
The show is performed with absolute class and complete dignity is given to the “Big O” at all times. It is as authentic to the real thing as it is possible. Being able to re-create the majestic brilliance of Roy on stage is no easy task - but with an incredibly talented singer/actor and excellent musicians who have captured the essence of the Orbison sound, it is fair to say that this show is well on it’s way to delivering a masterpiece.
The guys always get together a few hours before a show to make sure everything is first class for the evening ahead. They are always striving for perfection, and even though they have done the show hundreds of times, they treat every night as if it is the first. It is so easy to get complacent in this business and think you know everything inside out after a while, but when you are trying to create the sound of a legend such as Roy Orbison, you have to be on your toes all the time. There is immense discipline involved in any impersonation, and it is this discipline that gives this part of the show its unique melancholic atmosphere, warm velvety sound and unforgettable ambience.
While you are all still reeling after the brilliance of the first half, the second part of Return of The Kings will take you off your seats. This dynamnic, electrifying, high energy finale is everything you could ever hope for and more. A full and comprehensive recreation of Elvis’ 1973 classic “Aloha from Hawaii” is simply jaw-dropping and delivers pure heart-warming satisfaction to all his fans.
The original set –list is covered exactly as Elvis did it all those years ago, and therefore you will get the chance to hear some of his more specialist tracks including I’ll Remember You and What now my Love. There will also be some of the Covers that Elvis loved to do so much like My Way and Welcome to my World, and then of course some of his biggest hits including Blue Suede Shoes and Suspicious Minds.
