Dave has been playing drums since he was two and it is the only job he has known. One of his many heros is Ronnie Tutt and he was so keen to play the part he arrived for the audition 3hours early!! Dave has worked with some of the greatest names in the business including Jools Holland, The Baron Knights, Georgie Fame, King Pleasure & The Biscuit Boys and The Sid Lawrence Orchestra.

Ronnie had a very distinctive, flashy, explosive, slightly out of control style of playing and it is very difficult to emulate today, but Dave has the talent, the expertise and the drive to be the kind of drummer that can take on this challenge and nail it. No one came close to Dave in the auditions.

Sometimes it is hard to believe there is only one man playing the drums on stage. Dave makes some noise just to have one pair of hands and I’m sure you will agree the guy is phenomenal. To be able to play even close to the legend that is Ronnie Tutt is admirable but to match him is just sheer brilliance.Dave will be playing an identical blue double bass kit like Ronnie had in the concert. Take time to watch him and marvel at his affinity with a drum kit, it really is quite extraordinary. He follows the cues from Jason to the absolute second just as Ronnie did with Elvis, to ensure a mind blowing finish to every single number.
